The Channel Manager for Canada will be responsible for developing a business strategy for Canada that defines k-12 and Enterprise sales coverage through your Channel partners. You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by establishing and leveraging business relationships, marketing and sales programs and other SMART resources for your channel. As the Channel Manager for Canada you will work with a territory team to monitor the progress of large k-12 adoptions as well as daily run rate business. The Channel Manager for Canada is responsible for facilitating cross functional actions between Canada’s territory team members to drive discussions and actions to support the channel and end user. You will be responsible for understanding key metrics and ensuring those metrics are successfullymetin driving Canada to hit revenue and margin targets. You will be expected to forecast Canada’s business with regular accurate updates to your Sales Director.

Specific Experience and Expectations:

  • Proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong business relationships through proactive account management, including regular face-to-face meetings and communication at a business partner and end user level
  • Demonstrated success in working in a team environment
  • Proven consistent track record for forecasting and meeting target
  • Ability to evaluate the effectiveness of a channel partner to ensure maximumcoverage of all markets
  • An understanding of how to create a territory plan that includes possible strategic changes that need to be made based on that plan
  • Experience in working with a CRM and using this as a tool to forecast business

Education and work experience

  • Degree in business, marketing or a related field
  • At least five years' experience in sales with a successful, fast-paced, technology-driven business
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals and teams both locally and remotely
  • Demonstrated reasoning and problem-solving abilities with a high level of self-motivation
  • Strong time-management and planning skills
  • High degree of comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to approach tasks with a positive attitude while focusing on results
  • Experience working with and developing relationships across sales channels
  • A valid passport, or no impediment to obtaining one

Supervision

  • This position does not have any direct reports

Additional Details

  • Office-based role, fast-paced work environment
  • Travel may be required up to 50%
