Channel Sales Manager

SmartBear is rapidly expanding its EMEA Sales Team in Galway and looking for an experienced Channel Sales Manager. In this role you will champion our award-winning software to develop new channel partners, achieve and grow EMEA channel billings targets and manage on-going relationships across multiple technology products. Specific Sales Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify new partnering opportunities and overseeing partner onboarding process.
  • Assist in building suitable partner coverage by geography and product solution across focus EMEA markets.
  • Build and maintain strong positive working relationships with partner’s management team, sales and operational personnel.
  • Create and manage sales plans with existing distributors, focusing on growing an indirect reseller base and associated sales revenues through distribution.
  • Create and manage sales plans with select large direct VARs, focusing on Smartbear solution adoption and sales revenue growth.
  • Understand and continually assess the Smartbear value proposition to partners, identifying ways to accelerate growth through product and channel sales & marketing enhancements.
  • Achieve specified quarterly and yearly channel sales targets in EMEA.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience with software channel sales business development.
  • Capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and partner constituencies including senior level executives.
  • Experience of partnering with distributors to grow indirect reseller revenues.
  • Experience with large VARs and understanding their business to grow partnership revenues.
  • Willing and able to travel (10-20%).
  • Proficient in German (preferred), Spanish, or French.
  • Authorized to work in Ireland.
  • Bachelor's degree or other significant business experience.
