The Chief of Staff will work closely with the VP of Business Development and Global Supply Management and their leadership team to prioritize the group’s efforts, drive highest impact initiatives, and track and manage progress against their short and long term goals.The Chief of Staff will develop and operationalize processes, project manage strategic cross-functional initiatives, lead special projects, and play a key role (alongside their Executive Business Partner) in ensuring the VP is prepared and focused on the highest impact initiatives for Lyft.
The Chief of Staff will have their pulse and ear to the BD/GSM team, mitigating office politics and fostering a healthy team culture. They will uphold Lyft’s values and principles. The Chief of Staff will facilitate internal communications with the BD/GSM team and serve as a key liaison across central functions and lines of business.
The ideal candidate is an innovative and strategic thinker with the ability to operate at 3,000 feet at any moment. The Chief of Staff will be expected to demonstrate a high EQ and possess the ability to provide transparent feedback where needed. This person is an expert at relationship building and negotiation.
