What you'll do:
As the Chief of Staff, you will play a pivotal role as a key partner to our founders, especially the CEO, in advancing the company's strategic vision. This position offers a unique opportunity to comprehend and influence day-to-day priorities from the CEO's perspective, engaging with every function and executing strategies in the dynamic environment of a hyper-growth startup.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
Strategic Oversight:
-Act as the right hand to both co-founders, with full involvement in the decision-making process, leading critical business and product deliverables.
Special Projects:
-Undertake special assignments as requested by the co-founders and Leadership Team, spanning areas such as marketing, sales, sales development, product development, finance, and people operations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
-Foster robust cross-functional collaboration throughout the organization, managing cross-team initiatives and resolving blockers when necessary.
External Communication and Reporting:
-Collaborate with founders on board and investor communications to ensure transparency and clarity.
-Compile and send regular updates to investors, addressing inbound requests and maintaining a proactive sending cadence.
Internal Communication:
-Take charge of company-wide communications, including OKR reporting, strategy updates, and all-hands meetings.
Ideally, you'll bring with you:
- 2+ years of relevant experience in a startup/scale-up or a fast-paced environment such as management consulting or venture capital.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Sense of urgency – recognizing the need to move fast to accomplish tasks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, effectively working with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Strong leadership skills, motivating and influencing others to achieve common goals.
- Outstanding track record of operational excellence, proficiency, creativity, and effective collaboration.
- Excellent command of English - both written and spoken.
- Proximity to Warsaw: A successful candidate would work hand in hand with our founders, most of the time in the Warsaw office.
It'll be awesome if you have:
- First entrepreneurial experience and a founder's mentality or prior experience as a Chief of Staff
- Exposure to venture capital and startup financing
- Experience in an e-commerce space
