Job Description

  • Support the Head of Asia Marketing with the development of brand strategy from industry & consumer insights, creative idea generation, brand messaging and marketing channel strategy building to budget planning.

  • Lead development and execution of seasonal social media campaigns to deliver brand and commercial objectives (sales growth of ecommerce platforms such as TMall) within agreed timelines and budgets
  • Develop and deliver social media monthly content plans (Weibo & WeChat), build a robust KOL (influencer) engagement plan and database across key China social media platforms, manage always-on KOL seeding programmes to increase brand awareness and engagement
  • Work closely with internal TMall Trading Executive and external TP (TMall partner) to plan and deliver marketing and promotional activities to achieve commercial objectives
  • Manage external digital marketing agencies with responsibility of drafting brief, following through campaign execution to ensure successful delivery against KPIs
  • Closely monitor competitor activities, performing weekly/monthly/yearly campaign KPIs reports and providing improvement suggestions
  • Day to day management and accountability for marketing budgets and ensuring spend is on track and in budget.

  • Effectively manage internal stakeholder relationships and expectations across various teams (Global Brand, Finance, Supply Chain and etc.) throughout the daily work process, from project/assets brief to final sign-off, global assets localisation, execution and review of marketing plans.

Requirements

  • 3+ years relevant experience in China brand marketing and campaign management across social media platforms, previous work experience in China (in house or agencies) is highly preferred
  • Industry experience in beauty, haircare, fashion, consumer ecommerce is preferred
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering effective digital marketing campaign projects that deliver sales growth
  • Solid understanding of China’s digital marketing landscape, consumer behaviours, ecommerce market places (TMall, JD, Kaola, Little Red Book and etc)
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills with ability to manage internal and external relationships to drive desirable results, good copy writing skill is desirable
  • Strong project management skill, capable of taking ownership of campaign projects and see through completion
  • Fluent English and Mandarin speaker
