About the Role

As a result of the incredible success of our brand new Melbourne office, we are looking for a Chinese-Speaking Business Development Manager to join us!

Reporting into the Managing Director of APAC, you will be our first ever Chinese-Speaking Business Development Manager and therefore have the amazing opportunity to spearhead new business within the APAC market.

Your role will involve engaging with C-level executives of the world’s biggest brands over the phone and face-to-face, in order to consultatively sell our unique platform. The successful candidate will work tenaciously to secure new brand partnerships, demonstrating an entrepreneurial spirit and burning desire to win!

As Business Development Manager, you will have a brilliant sales track record with proven success building robust relationships, pitching, negotiating and closing deals. As we continue our phenomenal international expansion, you will have many career development opportunities available to you - including international travel, management and a very impressive earning potential.
Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing new business and generating sales with some of the world's most prominent and recognised brands.
  • Winning new business through effective lead sourcing, cold calling and relationship- building.
  • Contacting retail brands and agencies to develop a pipeline of customers.
  • Understanding client needs and building client relationships, both face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Taking full ownership of negotiation and closing of deals.
  • Attending and hosting exclusive business events.
  • International travel to clients and our global offices.


About You

  • Proven success within a new business development role and experience in the entire sales life-cycle: lead generation, pitching, proposals, negotiation and closing.
