CISO, VP of Infrastructure

Reporting to the CIO, the CISO, VP of Infrastructure is principally responsible for company-wide information security and assurance. You will also be responsible for the core infrastructure that supports the CLEAR platform and corporate IT solutions. He/She will establish and maintain the company strategy and program to make certain the information assets and technologies are protected against all threats. You will have a technical background and is a respected thought-leader in this space.  You will have successfully architected and implemented large scale enterprise solutions in cloud environments with mission critical applications. You will have superior leadership and organizational capabilities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, implement, and maintain processes across the company to ensure company-wide information security and assurance
  • Establish and maintain appropriate standards and controls, manage security technologies, and direct the establishment and implementation of related policies and procedures
  • Oversight of CLEAR's core infrastructure including the architecture, enabling scale, and the monitoring of the infrastructure
  • Responsible for disaster recovery and business continuity
  • Research and development to ensure CLEAR stays current in all relevant technologies, and plans accordingly for testing and implementation
  • Manage technology budget, and plan for predictive and financially prudent growth
  • Manage and develop information security and infrastructure employees
  • Pro-actively manage key partnerships with all 3rd party technology vendors and partners to costs, standards, and SLA’s
  • Manage infrastructure and support systems to facilitate increase of orders of magnitude to transactional volumes
  • Partner with Product Development team to stay in lock-step with software plans, testing, and deployment
  • Communications with key executive stakeholders

 

Educational and Experience Requirements:

  • 5 – 7+ years in a similar role at a company that has experienced aggressive growth, with 15+ overall technology leadership experience
  • Experienced working with disparate systems and a large infrastructure requiring the highest level of security and infrastructure needs
  • Knowledgeable of government regulatory requirements, such as FISMA and FedRAMP compliance
  • Deep understanding and hands-on application of Cloud based services (AWS is preferred)
  • Experience implementing and managing Salesforce CRM and Marketing tools
  • Proven collaboration and communication excellence
