So, what's the role?

As a Claims Support Agent, you will have the opportunity to work first-hand with our insureds as well as cross-functionally within the Claims department. You can expect to interact with our customers by phone, email, and chat, but that’s not all…

While this seems similar to our First Notice of Loss opportunity, there are small differences that make this role all its own. While customer service plays a key factor, you will have a bigger focus on the documentation side, giving you the chance to make payments and providing the opportunity to work with our legal team. In this position, you'll be working closely "within" the claim while still lending your outstanding people skills.

We may ask for your assistance in updating forms, policies, procedures, and training materials; as we continue to grow, it is important we make changes in real time by working together as a team.

A day in the life could include:

  • Assisting in general handling of correspondence
  • Processing approved payments in our claims system
  • Reassigning claims and/or adding details to clarify the loss
  • Answering inbound calls from customers regarding existing claims
  • Providing exceptional customer service and status updates to insureds
  • Monitoring claim assignments, adjuster profiles, and state licensing requirements
  • Assisting with security compliance audits and new loss claims reported via phone or email.
  • Lending a hand in running ISO, reporting analysis, and uploading into claim file
  • Processing inbound and outbound documents and checks
  • Creating file copies and assisting with vendor billing questions
  • Providing loss run reports
  • Assisting with subrogation and working with litigation departments

I’ve got the skills...but do I have the necessary ones?

  • Superior attention to detail coupled with outstanding organizational ability
  • Analytical; you enjoy working with documents, payments, audits, and attorney letters
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with other claims teams to deliver outstanding service to the insured
  • You love learning new skills and can work with tools such as G-Suite, Slack, Zoom, Snapsheet, Kustomer, and beyond.

Catastrophe Requirement

In the event of a catastrophe, mandatory overtime may be necessary due to high claim volume.
