RocketSpace Corporate Innovation Services at Rocketspace enables corporations to engage with thousands of early-stage startups from around the world through discovery with our research team or management of our industry accelerator programs. The Client Engagement Manager is tasked with leading a team of Client Engagement Associates. ​You will work with the Director of Corporate Innovation Services to create the strategic plan for our clients, focused on developing:

                (1) Research and Development.

                (2) The mentor network.

During the execution of the role, you will lead program management, ensuring that all activities progress as planned and deliver the value expected to our stakeholders, including corporate sponsors and startup teams.  The RocketSpace CIS team is re-defining what it means to be a modern corporation. Role & Responsibilities:

  • Manage R&D programs with our global clients

  • Manage stakeholders (startups, cooperates, media partners, mentors, general public) and provide one-on-one support where needed
  • Support in conceptualizing our CIS programs and building our mentor network

  • Manage client relationships 

  • Manage recruitment activities and work with other key team members to execute marketing and promotion activities

  • Work directly with the client to support the review and assessment of startups

  • Work closely with sponsors and startups to define, manage and measure proof-of-concept testing

  • Support the R&D director with relevant content in his/her role of advising the R&D clients in areas such as financing, business modeling, strategy planning, sourcing, marketing and business scaling supervision of startups

 A Little More About You:  
  • 5+ years of experience with technology accelerator programs

  • Strong and effective communication skills, with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple expectations of team members

  • Strong program management experience – you always ensure that deadlines are met and processes, operations and logistics run smoothly

  • Experience with event coordination and planning, administration and logistics

  • Marketing and Social Media as well as community management experience

  • Passion for tech and in-depth knowledge of the startup landscape

  • Point of view on how corporates can best leverage the tech ecosystem

  • Knowledge of the challenges facing big companies trying to innovate

  • Embraces the Kaizen strategy

  • Ability to consistently produce exceptional results with limited resources

  • A get-it-done attitude and comfort with ambiguity or limited direction

  • Fiery protection of the RocketSpace CIS brand and mission

  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves for the less glamorous side of the work
