Spotify is looking for an outstanding Client Partner to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We are looking for someone with a proven track record of revenue generation through a combination of growing existing accounts and breaking new business. The ideal candidate has deep relationships in the market, is interested in and has a passion for innovative digital media. We want someone who loves our product and knows how to sell creative solutions to brand clients and agency partners. You should be confident while staying humble, you work hard, operate with a growth mindset and know how to have fun. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences music and podcasts on Spotify.

What You'll Do

  • Sell display advertising, music streaming, podcasts, video formats, and other ad space.
  • Grow advertising revenues by creating, maintaining, and sustaining relationships with both media agency teams, brand side marketers and media leads.
  • Work across multiple agency departments, and client direct teams i.e. strategy, comms planning, audio, digital, video, programmatic, biddable, branded content and innovation teams, to develop and deliver successful campaigns.
  • Educate the marketplace and position Spotify as a means to enhance our clients’ business goals via music streaming and podcasts. 
  • Coordinate with the communications planning team and strategic planners, account directors, and buyers to create successful ad campaigns.
  • Meet and exceed revenue goals in partnership with your internal market team.
  • As the quarterback of the team, you will identify prospects, manage activity, oversee campaign delivery and track revenue using salesforce.
  • Represent Spotify at events and serve as a brand ambassador.

Who You Are

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree
  • You have 4+ years of experience in a digital sales role and/or media agency
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, exciting environment while facilitating communication flow between external and internal teams
  • You have knowledge of online and offline media and have the ability to be creative with audio and digital client solutions
  • You have strong negotiation skills, the ability to present effectively, navigate objections and successfully leverage data to close business
  • You have the ability to work independently, build a strong pipeline and a proven track record of exceeding quarterly revenue goals.
  • You have dexterity in creating reports and presentations using Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Salesforce, etc.
  • You have a deep understanding of the digital ecosystem and streaming audio.
  • You are a team player with a collaborative spirit who is smart, adapts and responds to change with a positive attitude.
  • You prioritize delivering effective proposals, successful campaigns and wrap reports.
