Client Strategist, Enterprise Services

Intersection seeks an experienced Client Strategist to drive breakaway growth within Enterprise Services. Intersection is working to dramatically enhance cities, and their component parts ranging from corporate campuses to airports, through user experience design and integration. In this role, you will be responsible for working with key customer contacts at multiple levels. You will identify and align business and IT objectives, discover customer pain points, offer recommendations, develop budget strategies and recognize current and future IT needs. As part of our client's strategy team you will direct and manage pre-sales engagements through the sales cycle.

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous people leadership experience in a direct selling environment, a proven track record of leading sales teams to exceed revenue on a consistent basis, and proven operational skills to manage the rhythms of business across customer types and disciplines.


  • Provide direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application/outsourcing services to client business, ranging from core IT practices to emerging models around IoT management and radical mixed use site technologies.
  • Facilitate of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sales cycle. 
  • Works with management to define new products.
  • Serve as the company liaison on specific technical projects with customers.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 5-8 years external experience with proven consultative sales, preferably 4+ years experience in high technology (services, software and/or hardware), with evidence of prior success in Sales and Relationship Management 
  • Ability to prospect manage C-level and senior level relationships within medium and large organizations 
  • Demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, sales acumen 
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering value added, insightful and strategic insight into their business 
  • Understand and adapt to Intersection’s ongoing product and technology developments. 
  • Excellent written and oral/presentation skills 
  • Ability to develop and conduct effective presentations with contract decision makers (C-level) 
  • Travel may be required 
  • Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process from prospecting to close 
  • Language requirements as determined by territory needs 
  • B.S. Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience
