We are looking for our next Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, a very important role for our Engineering team!

 

About the role

Installation, configuration, administration, management and support all activities associated with the IT infrastructure (Servers, Hypervisors, Cloud, etc) and the availability on the PayU platform. Ensure the quality and performance of IT; participate in research and development to continuously improve and keep up with the IT business needs of our organization.

 

What you¨ll do

• SysAdmins are responsible for dependable access and availability to IT systems.
• Managing, troubleshooting, licensing, and updating hardware and software and integrate automation processes.
• Required to troubleshoot and fix issues that compromise system performance or access to an IT service.
• Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.
• Support IT teams to ensure that software systems and feature releases are compatible with the IT infrastructure

 

What you’ll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field or equivalent experience
• 2+ years experience managing a production GNU/Linux OS, virtualization (VMWare, KVM or similar) and Amazon Cloud infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.
• Experience with scripting and automation tools
• System administration and IT certifications is a plus
• Level English B2
