Skytap is looking for a talented bi-lingual (English and Spanish) speaking Cloud Solutions Architect to be a technical leader in the field to both support our sales team and help deliver migrations to the cloud. Who we are:
Skytap is a Cloud Service for traditional applications that are based on IBM Power based Operating Systems such as IBM i, AIX, and Linux and their dependent x86 workloads. Often these are the applications that are “stuck” in the datacenter and need to be either exited as part of an organization’s overall Cloud strategy, or the customer wishes to look for an alternative to an on-premises solution. Skytap provides a Cloud Service built on Microsoft Azure and IBM Cloud that supports these workloads.

Skytap is the only large-scale public cloud service that provides businesses with an on-demand cloud-consumption based solution for workloads that span x86 and Power architectures.
Skytap is looking for Cloud Solutions Architects that not only understand migrating applications to Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, but have experience in the IBM Power Ecosystem. Candidates should be able to demonstrate skill in customer engagement, design, and implementation for enterprise application migration opportunities.

The base salary range for this position is: $140,000 to $160,000 USD per year. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on a full-time schedule and qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. This range is for the job level posted, though depending on the candidate, it may also span more than one job level. Base salaries offered to applicants are determined based upon a variety of factors, including experience and skills, but are not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law and may vary from the posted salary range. Skytap shares base salary ranges for U.S.-based job postings regardless of state.
Other compensation for this position may include eligibility to participate in Skytap’s stock option plan. Depending upon the position, participation in a Skytap commission plan or bonus plan may be offered in addition to base salary. Other forms of compensation may also be offered depending upon the position.
