Requirements

Management of the day to day debt collections process – Invoice Finance and Business Loans

Responsibility for the management of the complex collection cases

Management of the debt collections and recovery policy for both Invoice Finance and Business Loans

Periodic reporting regarding collection cases to purchasing investors and internal stakeholders in line with MarketFinance recovery protocols and CBILS claim criteria

Management of Collections team (2-4 members)

Working with external partners (e.g. Solicitors, Insolvency Practitioners, Collection Agencies)

Building out and automating the Business Loan collection process

Ensuring that the collections process is efficient and compliant with laws, regulation and internal protocols

Undertaking recoveries for both Secured and Unsecured Lending

Qualifications / Experience

Previous collections and recoveries in a bank or fintech

Track record of leading collections team in a bank or fintech

Track record of creating collections processes for unsecured lending

Confidence and ability to handle challenging conversations (phone calls, emails, face to face)

Ability to lead & scale a team

Knowledge of both Corporate and Personal insolvency

Knowledge of UK debt collections laws and regulations

Qualifications

ABFA / IFABL / ICAEW CII / CPI qualification(s) advantageous
