Collections Officer

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Handle collection from hotel overcharges
  • Prepare reports, maintain accurate records and month-end closing
  • Monitor overdue debtors, identify and action significant collection risk issues and minimize overall overcharged by hotels
  • Communicate proactively and clearly with internal and external customers on significant issues to indicate progress and to resolve issues;
  • Owner of Key Performance Indicators like % overcharge, % collection within period
  • Handle ad hoc issues and projects, when required.

 

Required Skills

  • Ability to recognize financial implications of business decisions and strategy;
  • Understanding of business practices and systems;
  • Facilitate and practice security and confidentiality of information;
  • Ability to work independently and within a team;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills especially when engaging external parties
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Thai

 

Required Education and Experience:

  • 1-2 year experiences on credit control / accounts receivable / accounting are a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree desired.
