The Business Activities:
- Peer-to-peer (P2P) lending:
- Loans directly from Investors to Borrowers
- All loans are for commercial purpose, with most being for construction and real estate development
- Property Management, including lease agreements, and Development
Job Summary:
- Reporting to the Director
- Working with Borrowers and Investors to collect information, assess, contract, fund, manage and complete the loans and investment
- Understanding of lending including:
- Loan calculations, loan interest, loan agreements, lending policies, title deeds, PPSR, Mortgage registration, and what the borrower, guarantor and mortgagor are
- Loan processing and credit analysis.
- This will require a general understanding of project feasibility, property, property development, contracts of sales, construction, construction contracts, property valuations, quantity surveyor report, project costings
- Weekly teams meeting with video and screen sharing.
- Summarize issues and questions for weekly meeting
- Adjusting and request work as time permits, overall diligence
- Answer phone calls, emails and resolve tasks or escalate questions
- Applicate must have a modern PC with Windows 10 or above and video conferencing hardware
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial lending
- Business process development and process documentation
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills including: outlook, excel, word
- Excellent math skills, excel skills and understanding of loan computations for loan and construction feasibilities
- Strong commercial sense to assess business needs, identify solutions and implement
- Clear written communication
- Time management for yourself and the Director’s schedules
