Commercial Data Analyst

We are seeking a Commercial Data Analyst to help bridge the gap between our data and our customers. As a Commercial Data Analyst, you’ll work closely with the Commercial Team (Sales & Account Management) on the front lines helping us to unlock the power of our data for our clients, and will provide detailed insights about the success of their members in the Omada program.

The ideal candidate for this role has strong project management skills and experience in translating complex data into customer facing stories with minimal assistance between querying/analyzing the data and interpreting/communicating the results.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our Commercial Team (Sales & Account Management) to organize, prioritize and execute on a roadmap designed to provide quick and scalable analytical support.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses for existing and prospective customers that demonstrate the clinical efficacy of Omada and provide interesting insights.
  • Proactively work to build prospective data case studies to support reps in the field.
  • Design and prepare recurring customer reports that demonstrate the progress and performance of customers’ members in the Omada program.
  • Work end-to-end querying data from a SQL database, analyzing data in Excel, and preparing results clearly and succinctly in Powerpoint.
  • Assist Omada’s broader commercial organization with data analysis projects.

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years experience as a business/reporting/client analyst or in a similar role.
  • Advanced database querying skill (SQL) for analysis and reporting requests.
  • Experience prioritizing and managing lines of work for multiple stakeholders.
  • Effective at addressing customer inquiries regarding data analyses.
  • Exceptional Excel and data manipulation skills.
  • Expertise creating clear and concise Powerpoint presentations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Bonus points for:

  • Working knowledge of statistics, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
  • Automation skills using shell scripts or VBA macros.
  • Experience with a statistical computing langxuage like R, SAS, or Python.
  • Experience working with healthcare data.
