Commercial Inside Sales Representative

POSITION SUMMARY (brief description of purpose of the position)

The Inside Sales Representative for Commercial Accounts will initiate sales opportunities and assist customers in product questions and or concerns in order to deliver a successful sale and a satisfied client.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS according to Strategic Business Plan                               (primary tasks and responsibilities in the job)    

  • Build a strategic territory plan and execute in tangent with corresponding Territory Sales manager
  • Submit an accurate forecast for a rolling 90 day period on a weekly basis
  • Build & maintain a pipeline 4X quota
  • Identify and call on key business decision makers and engage them in early opportunities
  • Use Customer Centric Selling methodology to move opportunities through the sales cycle
  • Leverage network of implementation and reseller partners to maximize sales and ensure customer success
  • Identify, generate, propose and close sales opportunities for Qlik's product and service solutions over the phone
  • Provide pricing, proposals and take orders over the phone and through email
  • Utilize phone, email and web tools to communicate and present company offerings 
  • Answer/respond to customers inbound questions
  • Maintain Salesforce.com with accurate data

  • Excellent time management, multi tasking and organizational skills required
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive and take initiative to get things done
  • Technical sales experience a plus 
  • Proficient with Salesforce.com, Windows and MS Office products 
  • Customer Centric Selling experience an asset 
  • Bachelor’s degree a plus
  • Passion for improving business performance and for your ongoing professional development

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • 2-4 years of quota carrying experience in Inside Sales; preferably with technology or software companies
  • Bachelor equivalent mandatory
  • Business to Business

Languages

  • Business level English mandatory
  • Other relevant languages would be an advantage
