Communications Intern

Pivotal seeks a communications intern to help us with our social media coordination. Pivotal is a company that transforms how the world builds software. Pivotal combines the Silicon Valley state of mind, modern approach, and infrastructure with organizations’ core expertise and values. We enable the leading companies in the world (GE, Ford, Humana, All State, Southwest Airlines) to innovate by employing an approach focused on building—not buying—software.

We are looking for someone who is aware of the transformative power of software and the role it’s playing in reshaping entire industries, from automotive to healthcare and everything in between. The communications team at Pivotal supports the company by forming the messaging strategy to which marketing, sales, and the rest of the company aligns, creating content, managing press relationships, maintaining an editorial calendar, and protecting our brand.

This is a paid, full-time internship (with possibility of extension) and is based in the San Francisco Bay Area out of our office in SoMa.

  • Ability to write concisely and copyedit on occasion.
  • Bonus: familiarity with Photoshop.
