The Communication Specialist is responsible for assisting with the development and design of various components of communication within Keller Mortgage. Helping to ensure that communication is presented in a clear, concise and eye-catching methods the Company Communication Specialist will make suggestions, draft and design formats and present concept ideas. Overall helps to make sure that you are presenting first class communication tools throughout the company.  

Responsibilities

  • Point person on the Keller Mortgage company Intranet – making sure that it stays up to date with company news, department changes and important details
  • Work with the various Department Managers to develop monthly team newsletters
  • Work with the EVPs to develop quarterly company newsletters
  • Assist with posting open positions on Keller Mortgage’s social media platforms for the Talent Acquisition
  • Draft reply comments to online reviews regarding Keller Mortgage on social platforms like Glassdoor, Indeed, etc.
  • Administer company employee retention and recognition programs, determining unique and creative methods to recognize and incentivize employees for exceptional performance.  May be instrumental in the execution of the company’s succession planning process
  • Manage various corporate administration functions, including company events and monthly meetings
  • Assists in keeping tabs Keller Mortgage’s employee culture – helping to provide feedback on employee morale and other employee relation topics that would help in retain current employees and recruit top level candidates
  • Assist with additional projects as needed
  • Represent Keller Mortgage's mission, vision and values with integrity and professionalism

Qualifications

  • One or more years of experience in a Marketing or Communications role
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, to fellow employees, customers and external vendors in a professional, articulate and respectful manner
  • Demonstrated ability to handle delicate situations with diplomacy and tact
  • Proven experience prioritizing projects based upon business demands and multiple requests from various entities in a fast-paced, high-production, deadline driven environment
  • Proven experience adhering to deadlines and expected delivery dates
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, to fellow employees, customers and external vendors in a professional, articulate and respectful manner
  • Demonstrated ability to handle delicate situations with diplomacy and tact
  • Proven ability to multi-task, and stay organized in an independent environment
  • Possess a passion and desire to continuously improve their style and work productivity  
  • HS Diploma or equivalent; preferred candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Graphic Design or a related field
