Jane Software is hiring a

Community Coordinator (Ambassador Program)

Full-Time
Hey there, I’m Kristin. 👋

Thanks for stopping by to learn more about what I think, is a really exciting and rewarding role on Jane’s Growth Marketing Team.

We officially launched Jane’s Ambassador program in June 2022 and since then, have welcomed more than 50 Ambassadors into our program. For 2023, we have big plans for Jane’s growth and want you to be a part of that story.
In this role, you will be responsible for regularly engaging with Jane’s Ambassador community and working closely on our sponsorships, ensuring our partners have the assets they need, on time, to introduce Jane to their communities. We are committed to supporting our community in an effort to drive steady growth for Jane all while simplifying the lives of allied health practices.

Ambassadors are becoming a big part of Jane’s story and growth, so we’re looking for someone who is passionate about relationship building, community, and finding new sponsorship opportunities for Jane. You’re ready to support our mutually beneficial relationships with some of our top customers.

In this role, you’ll get to know every aspect of our workflow and production process and keep things moving so we achieve our deadlines. We’re looking for strong organization, attention to detail, adaptability, and an ability to work with people both inside and outside of Jane as you coordinate the cross-functional workflow between our Marketing teams. Working directly with Jane’s Ambassadors to support them on their journeys, while growing Jane, sort of feels like a really cool job, and we like to think that if we aren’t having fun with what we do, we are doing it wrong.

Like all positions at Jane, this one is remote and can be carried out from anywhere in Canada. We strive to create a happy, healthy, and connected team, and while we work hard we don't have strict 9 to 5 hours. We offer flexibility and autonomy, and when it comes to decision-making, we take a decentralized approach to ensure our teams' voices are heard and acted upon. We're building something special at Jane, and we support that with an employee stock option plan that gives everyone a chance to benefit from Jane's success.

We really want the people who work at Jane to love being here, so it's important that we start off with a bit about what makes our company unique. Here are some specifics about what Jane is all about, and with these, hopefully, you have a better idea if this might be the kind of company you want to be part of.

We’re a North Vancouver-born SaaS company with a distributed remote team across Canada, and our platform is modernizing the world of practice management software. We enable health practitioners like physiotherapists, mental health counsellors, chiropractors, and other allied health practitioners to run their practices in a digital-first way through features such as online booking, charting, scheduling, secure video, and billing along with an evolving library of features.

Tens of thousands of healthcare practices globally are now running on Jane. We facilitated over over 10 million patient appointments last year, and Jane now the number one choice for Allied Healthcare practitioners across Canada. We’re growing quicker in the US than we were here in Canada 3 years ago, and we’re now helping run clinics in 44 countries.
We’re profitable, product-led and growing organically to the point where 85% of our customer growth is either from customer referrals or word of mouth. Growth like this is unique, especially in the world of SaaS, and it doesn’t happen by chance. We have a brilliant team of almost 400 employees who all do an amazing job of listening to our customers, building what they need, and providing industry-leading support.

Of course, it's not all about the numbers, but this puts into perspective the scale of Jane, from the thousands of practitioners whose lives are made easier each day to the millions of patients receiving treatment. If you’re the type of person excited by this growth, we’d love to speak with you.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support the continued evolution of Jane’s Ambassador Program strategy while aligning business objectives to demonstrate a return on investment that can be attributed back to sponsorship performance
  • Within the ambassador program, work on things like delivering “moments that matter” gifts to ambassadors, our monthly ambassador newsletter, campaign channel distribution, webinar coordination, and social collaborations
  • Maintain strong communication with ambassadors to give program support, manage deadlines, and distribute campaign assets
  • Support the management of team finances and regular budget tracking
  • Support new sponsorship requests across multiple stakeholders advising, negotiating, and managing the review process
  • Coordinate sponsorships with our ambassadors relative to our budget

So what are we specifically looking for?

  • Passion for developing strong, long term professional relationships
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Comfortable in a wide range of settings, from video calls to in-person meetings, with focus on service
  • Friendly, outgoing and caring
  • Experience managing multiple projects at the same time
  • You are extremely organized, methodical, and detail-oriented
  • You are an excellent communicator of concise, accurate, deadline-driven information
  • You demonstrate initiative and quick thinking to provide timely solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills, knowing instinctively when to push and when to let things simmer as you work to keep projects on track
  • You are patient and are excellent at managing stress and pressure

  • Bonus points for:
  • Experience working in a high growth or fast-paced tech company before
  • Have been on a marketing team before
  • Have used Jane App before
  • Knowledge of allied health industries

As well as a great team, you'll have...

  • The ability to work from anywhere in Canada. We also have some flexibility to occasionally work outside of Canada.
  • An equitable approach to compensation means compensating you for the positive impact you have on our customers, product, and people.
  • Jane’s Employee Stock Option Plan. Jane is privately owned, growing very fast and operating profitably. Profitable hyper-growth rarely happens at our scale. When it does, it creates value quickly (it already has for many of our team members).
  • A flexible time off package that includes your vacation time, holiday gifted time off for everyone at Jane, and your birthday off (because who wants to work on their birthday?)
  • Jane provides extended health care benefits to you and your dependents starting on your very first day. You’ll receive $750 per individual Allied Health discipline along with $2,000 in coverage for Registered Clinical Counsellors, Psychotherapists, Psychologists, and Social Workers.
  • A $500 wellness spending account to use towards maintaining your health and wellness in whatever way works best for you.
  • Parental top-up that allows Janers to plan for the future.
  • Access to 24/7 immediate mental health services, virtual doctors, legal and financial coaching, and career coaching.

At Jane, we’re committed to fostering an environment that allows you to come to work as your truest self. We believe it’s important to actively recognize, embrace, and celebrate our differences in order to make Jane an inclusive, equitable, and diverse workplace.

We want to build a team of people who make conversations rich with perspective and experience. We are committed to listening to every voice in order to learn and grow because doing this will allow us to meet the needs of the diverse community of helpers that Jane serves.

We do not tolerate discrimination, prejudice, or oppressive isms of any kind. Employment is decided on the basis of qualifications, merit, experience, and the needs of the Jane community. We encourage anyone who requires accommodation or adjustments throughout the interview process to let us know, and we will do our best to support you.
