Overview:

Casper is seeking a Community Coordinator to join its award-winning social media team. Casper is consistently applauded by the media (New York Times, Buzzfeed, Wall Street Journal, Fast Company), recognized by industry leaders, and was awarded three Shortys and named a Webby Honoree in two categories. 

aThe ideal candidate must be obsessed with the internet, have phenomenal written communication skills, and exemplify a "no task is too small" attitude. This person will mainly manage the day-to-day social media activity across all platforms to ensure ongoing community engagement and growth. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily moderation and direct communication with users across Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram (on and off hours) through Sprinklr
  • Write back to all comments, tweets, and posts in a timely manner to maintain quick response times
  • Ideate and implement innovative engagement tactics to create an award-winning customer experience on social media
  • Maintain the social media content calendar
  • Contribute editorial posts to Pillow Talk, Casper's blog about all things sleep
  • Identify and engage advocates + influencers on a VIP level through a gifting program and continued communication
  • Escalate issues, observations, opportunities, and insights to the appropriate team members
  • Stay current on platform changes, new social channels, and digital trends

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-2 years experience in social media, digital media, customer experience, editorial, marketing, or publishing
  • Phenomenal written communication skills
  • Quick witted and a lover of GIFs + puns
  • Excellent knowledge of social media and digital trends
