Community Manager
Play with our community! The Community Manager will focus on creating fun, exciting, and interactive streamers activities on regular basis. The sole requires best-in-class skills in activity planning, presenting, and strong communication skills in Chinese Mandarin and English. This role will report to the Director of Content in Taiwan and will be based out of Taipei.
Responsibilities
- Pilot new initiatives and execution of Twitch community activities in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and global Chinese community
- Design online activities format and incentives to keep community engaged
- Work with game developers and publishers to create online activities on Twitch
- Report on the result of each events, identify trends, and create case studies
- Seek collaboration with brands to co-create successful Twitch community experience
- Collaborate with other Twitch departments to ensure best-in-class project execution
- Present to and consult with senior level management to help drive the initiatives forward
Requirements
- Skills in planning
- Fluent in English and Chinese Mandarin, in writing and speaking
- Great business negotiation skills
- Knowledge of Twitch community and true understanding of the Twitch Platform
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task with excellent organization skills
- Comfortable with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity
- Can-do attitude, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset
Bonus Points
- Previous planning experience for esports or gaming events
- Experience streaming on Twitch
- Previous work experience in the live stream or gaming industry
