About the role

We’re looking for a savvy, strategic Community Relations Manager to harness the power of Grovo’s community to grow our brand, shape and share our story, and ultimately drive sales.

This person will bring the initiative and creative insight to transform clients and influencers into a community of brand ambassadors, develop programmatic approaches to relationship building, and tell powerful community-focused stories across our owned media channels. You will have full ownership of Grovo’s blog and social media accounts to achieve your objectives.

This is a position for someone with exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal - who thrives in a collaborative, dynamic environment, and is highly organized, digitally-savvy, and quick to take initiative. To succeed in this role, you’ll have a strong background in copywriting, content development, project management, and community involvement.

The Community Relations Manager will report to Grovo’s Senior Director of Communications and be responsible for managing and executing Grovo’s community-driven marketing strategy.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Growing Grovo’s blog into a leading destination for L&D innovators
  • Management and content development for Grovo’s social media channels
  • Ideating and executing creative programs to transform clients and influencers into brand ambassadors
  • Creating a pipeline of multimedia case studies aligned with strategic business objectives
  • Brainstorm content ideas to support marketing campaigns and company initiatives
  • Track & analyze efforts to refine and optimize community engagement strategies
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships throughout various sectors of the community
  • Build strong relationships with community leaders to assist in executing the company’s goals.
  • Maintain and produce the company’s community events calendar, both internal and external
  • Help represent Grovo at events, programs, and networking opportunities
  • Assist in Grovo’s largest marketing programs, events, and initiatives

 

Your background:

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field of study preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations,
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to adopt the Grovo brand voice
  • Skilled at working collaboratively and cross-functionally across multiple teams to achieve results
  • Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to manage complex projects
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship skills; confident public speaker
  • Ability to harness news, trends, and new tools to deliver key messages
  • Proficiency in HTML and design software a plus
