What are we about

LendInvest uses technology to provide borrowers with short-term bridging finance, development finance and Buy-To-Let; and investors that include retail investors (in our London Stock Exchange listed bond), investors on our Online Investment Platform and some of the world’s largest financial institutions, with stable income secured against property.

The Role

LendInvest is looking for a Compliance Analyst to join at an exciting time within our Compliance Team. Reporting to Risk and Compliance Director, the objective of the role will be to ensure that the business remains compliant with the regulatory obligations relating to funds management and property lending and be actively involved in the on-boarding and ongoing monitoring of customers.

We lend money to property professionals, as well as provide a platform for sophisticated investors and institutional capital to invest in property loans. Both our lending and investor products requires compliance oversight; particularly LendInvest Funds Management Limited, which manages Alternative Investment Funds and is regulated by the FCA.

What you’ll be doing

  • Approval of financial promotions and client communications
  • Management of client complaints including FCA complaints reporting
  • Assist in the training and competence of employees
  • Responsible for reviewing existing policies and procedures to ensure best practice
  • Assist in FCA Gabriel Reporting and Handle FCA Connect matters
  • Identify, assess and mitigate risk events and incidents within the business
  • Looking at regulatory change and drafting new policies
  • Providing advisory services to the firm’s investment business

What we need you to have

  • Knowledge and experience of FCA Handbook SYSC, COBs and DISP
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced commercial environment, manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Possess a high level of integrity acting with due care, skill and diligence
  • Ability to deal with internal stakeholders in an open, engaging and cooperative way

What we’d like you to have

  • Good knowledge of the funds management in the UK
  • Previous exposure to CSSF regulated environment
  • Experience at a Fintech
