Compliance Officer

We are looking to hire a talented Compliance professional to help build a leading Compliance Program in the non-bank business-lending arena.  We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starter who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced and collaborative environment.  In this challenging position, you will report to the Head of Compliance and work closely with members of the legal team and key business leaders.

Along with the Head of Compliance, you will manage and drive implementation of significant components of the Compliance Program, including: 

  • Continue to build on an existing culture of Compliance
  • Craft and implement policies and procedures
  • Manage the AML/CTF function
  • Conduct risk assessments and monitor and review compliance controls
  • Compliance training and communications
  • Address regulatory matters and changes in the regulatory landscape
  • Compliance reporting

Qualifications for success: 

  • You have at least 5 years of relevant Compliance experience, preferably in financial services
  • Significant experience dealing with all aspects of an AML/CTF/OFAC compliance program
  • You have excellent project management skills, analytical and communication skills
  • Experience designing and/or implementing risk assessment, monitoring and testing programs
  • You have an undergraduate degree from a top school, JD is a plus
  • Experience with a regulatory agency also a plus
  • You are self-assured and can inspire the confidence of the business team, management, departmental colleagues and other support groups
  • You effectively prioritize and manager multiple matters and can work both collaboratively and autonomously. 
  • You have an interest in helping our small business borrowers grow their businesses
  • You have the highest of ethical standards
