Content Marketer

Twilio is seeking a Content Marketer to be a key addition to the Twilio Content Marketing Team. This role will be focused on developing customer stories, multimedia assets, and creating visual elements that promote Twilio SendGrid’s products. This person will work closely with key stakeholders across marketing and brand to identify customers with a story to highlight, produce case studies  using unique and compelling media elements, as well as assist the rest of the Content Marketing team by creating visual pieces to support the other content assets we publish. 


Twilio is looking for a teammate who lives the Twilio Magic, and has a demonstrated track record of producing interesting visual, written, and even video content. They should also have:

  • 3+ years experience in a marketing or content-specific role.
  • Experience working closely with customers, contractors, and other teammates to develop and publish content pieces like customer testimonials, customer videos, blogs, and presentations. 
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills.
  • Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to use creativity and journalistic traits to uncover additional opportunities for content..
  • Ability to create infographics, illustrations, PDFs, and other visuals for published content assets like blogs, e-books, and case studies.

  • WRITE IT DOWN: Develop a process and document the progress for customer outreach and creating new customer stories.
  • DRAW THE OWL:Take initiative and find new ways, channels, and mediums for telling the customer story. 
  • BE AN OWNER & BE BOLD: Lead or assist in all aspects of new Twilio SendGrid customer content.
  • EMPOWER OTHERS: Interact extensively across all functional teams within Twilio.
  • NO SHENANIGANS: Ensure the consistent exercise of appropriate judgment and discretion in evaluating opportunities, conducting due diligence, and negotiating agreement terms.


The Content Marketing team is critical for the success of Twilio’s self-service and product awareness process. We work closely with senior leadership, Lifecycle Marketing, and Demand Generation to create new content that drives traffic to our website, and ultimately, product adoption. The work completed in this role will be used to market products like email, sms, voice, IoT, and others, to millions of potential customers.
