We are seeking a Content Marketing Associate who has a background in writing and creating content, and getting that content into conversations. This person will have a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality, and can wear multiple hats in the form of email marketing, copywriting, and content marketing.

The successful candidate will support Andela’s content creation and distribution, and will manage the development and flow of content throughout the marketing funnel. From creating white papers and guides, to case studies and direct marketing materials, this candidate will have an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing the voice of Andela’s brand.

  • Work with multiple stakeholders to plan, write, edit and execute content and copy.
  • Create multiple resources each month to drive leads, subscribers, awareness, and other important metrics (examples include ebooks, whitepapers, case studies, guides, etc.).
  • Upload and format all content into WordPress; source/create graphics; schedule posts.
  • Create copy for display and social advertising and outbound email marketing materials.
  • Support a 90-day content calendar that outlines the specific materials that we will publish across channels.
  • Support customer engagement programs via written communications.
  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and brand consistency across all communications

  • You have excellent copywriting skills and experience in B2B marketing, with samples to share.
  • You are an analytical, structured thinker.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong grasp of grammar.
  • You have an understanding of “tech speak.”
  • You have strong project management skills.
  • You are able to work gracefully in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • You have a dual-minded approach: You’re highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions
  • You have a strong creative eye, with the ability to identify content that is on-brand and highly engaging.
  • You have some experience with marketing automation platforms and email marketing.
  • You can move fast in a startup culture and can take on other challenges as needed.
