Content Marketing Manager

Signal is a market intelligence firm that leverages the latest technologies to extract relevant information from the world's news in real time. We help professionals track media, research and understand markets, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders across the value chain. The business was founded by David Benigson in 2013. In 2015, we closed a seed round of funding worth US$1.8m, led by Frontline Ventures. Since then, we have made several key hires from best-in-class companies, and are looking to expand our team ahead of our Series A round this year.

We are looking for a talented content creator to write and produce meaningful B2B content to expand our digital footprint, awareness and eNewsletter subscribers to produce quality inbound leads. This role requires a high level of creativity, collaboration, attention to detail, and project management skills.


  • Create 1–2 impactful pieces of content each month to drive inbound leads, subscribers, awareness, and/or other important metrics (examples include: ebooks, whitepapers, infographics, guides, templates, press releases etc).
  • Blog on a regular basis, creating sharable valuable content, to attract visitors to our website through search, social media, and eNewsletter subscribers.
  • Grow our subscriber base by providing them with regular, helpful and valuable content that aligns with their needs and interests.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. Demand Generation Manager, Designer) as well as external industry influencers and experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of our audience.
  • Build good relationships with clients to create inspiring case studies, both in written and video form.
  • Connect with influential media outlets and journalists to place stories about company news and other initiatives.
  • Collaborate with prominent members of the company, to craft and pitch press releases, and apply to awards.
  • Establish a sustainable, strategic approach to PR based on adding value to media outlets.
  • Proof read content and provide constructive feedback for articles written by different internal departments.
