Responsibilities:
1. **Financial Management:**
- Oversee the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with accounting standards.
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.
2. **Financial Reporting:**
- Prepare and analyze timely and accurate financial statements, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Generate regular financial reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends.
3. **Budgeting and Forecasting:**
- Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts, monitoring and reporting on variances.
- Guide cost control measures to achieve financial targets.
4. **Audit and Compliance:**
- Coordinate external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting principles.
- Implement and enforce internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
5. **Team Leadership:**
- Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities.
6. **Cash Management:**
- Oversee cash flow planning and ensure adequate liquidity to meet operational needs.
- Optimize banking relationships and monitor investment strategies.
7. **Tax Planning:**
- Collaborate with tax advisors to develop and implement tax strategies, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
8. **Financial Systems and Technology:**
- Evaluate, implement, and optimize financial systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in financial technology.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification a bonus.
- Has an understanding of technology development for finance (Daily sales, Invoicing, inventory management and fulfillment, sales reconciliation), and integration with existing financial products.
- Proven experience in a senior financial management role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
