Creating an extraordinary customer experience (for both our external and internal customers)  is at the heart of Carvana. Our goal is to place the customer in control of the car buying experience and infuse honesty and transparency back into the car buying process.

As a Coordinator you will be an integral part of the Talent Development team, assisting in the development, organization, administration and execution of talent and engagement programs and initiatives across our Inspection Center platform. The ideal candidate will be organized, creative, motivated, and passionate about creating an ideal employee experience. You will have the unique opportunity to work alongside top-caliber People Ops and Operations teams, learning tons and having fun along the way!    

The Inspection Center Talent Coordinator will report to the Senior Talent Specialist for Inspection Centers.  This is a full-time, salaried position based out of our office located in Tempe, AZ.                                                           


  • Assist with the delivery,  facilitation and execution of Talent Development programs and initiatives across our Inspection Center platform (ie. employee recognition programs, talent calibrations, employee engagement initiatives, annual merit etc). 
  • Ensure the successful administration and completion of Talent Development related tasks in our field locations by building strong partnerships and creating or improving upon tracking mechanisms and auditing processes.
  • Partner with the necessary stakeholders to prepare, coordinate and execute department-wide communications. 
  • Assist in the creation and distribution of People Operations focused presentations, materials and documents for the Inspection Center organization.
  • Prepare and manage the administration of performance check-ins and talent calibrations for assigned departments. 
  • Create a variety of Talent Development materials, presentations and documents for assigned departments. 
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of all things Talent Development for the Inspection Center organization (including talent management practices, career development, reporting and more).
  • Be a knowledgeable and reliable partner and resource to the Inspection Center organization.
  • Other duties as assigned. 



The qualifying candidate must love helping people and possess the drive to achieve a great employee experience. They must be goal-oriented, enthusiastic, energetic, self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to interact and communicate across all levels of the organization. 


  • A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited undergraduate institution
  • At least 1 year of experience working in an HR, Administrative or Talent Development role
  • Professional presence with the ability to collaborate and work well with people across  all levels of the organization
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication and active listening skills
  • Fast learner with the ability to problem solve, prioritize, and multi-task
  • Strong analytical thinking and organizational skills 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; Ability to learn quickly and transfer knowledge
  • Ability to take initiative and execute in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment
  • Ability to maintain confidential data and information
  • Ability to interpret data and processes
  • Ability to create and maintain routine reports
