Copywriter (French or Spanish)

Overview

Casper is looking for two multilingual copywriters to join our team in Berlin. One copywriter will own the reflection of the Casper tone of voice in the French market, and the other will own it in the Spanish market. These specialists will ensure a high quality of translation of copy from the US team to integrate the Casper brand for their respective market. Additionally, they will brainstorm and develop fresh, creative and compelling copy ideas for campaigns that will come to life online and off. 

Responsibilities

  • Transcreate the essence of Casper’s US creative for the French or Spanish market
  • Provide a range of options for testing themes and positioning of Web content, promotional materials, and marketing collateral
  • Collaborate closely with the creative, marketing and communications team leads to maintain consistent brand messaging, voice, and tone across all channels and products 


Requirements:

  • 3+ years of copywriting experience
  • Fluency in English, and native in French or Spanish
  • Strong pulse of the nuances and eccentricities of the French or Spanish market
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in an ever-changing environment with tight deadlines
  • A ‘no task is too small’ attitude
  • Strong organizational skills, an eye for details and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • A love of thinking outside the box and developing creative/innovative solutions

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience working on a global team and collaborating across multiple geographies
  • E-commerce experience
  • Ad or other creative agency experience

This is a Berlin-based job with competitive pay in a lively and energetic atmosphere. The Casper EU team is ensconced within WeWork's Tiergarten offices at the landmark Sony Center complex. It’s a close-knit crew of 15 and counting.
