Asana is hiring a

Corporate Account Executive

Sydney, Australia

We are looking for an experienced Corporate Account Executive to join our APAC team! You’ll be responsible for growing revenue within your diverse book of business - a mix of free and paid accounts across many industries. Selling is a team sport at Asana, so you’ll lead a cross-functional team including SDRs, customer success, solutions engineers and others. This is a unique opportunity for you to make a meaningful impact by helping win new logos and expand our partnership with existing customers. You’ll be selling to decision-makers from various functions across the whole organisation, so you’ll need to be genuinely curious and adaptable.

You’ll be joining a successful team and have plenty of support, but real talk - there is room for us to improve in terms of how we provide value to, and therefore get value from, our customers. Your ideas and feedback are not just welcomed, they’re expected to be shared in our safe space!

This role is based in our Sydney office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. Along with most Asanas, you’ll work from this office in person on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays. If you're interviewing for this role, your Talent Acquisition Partner will share more about the in-office requirements.

What you’ll achieve

  • Proactively source and close revenue within your book of business
  • Develop a plan, using the data available to us, to prioritise your time and focus so that you maximise revenue generated from your book of business
  • Educate your accounts on the value of work management platforms
  • Ensure your customers see value from their investment and ultimately expand their Asana usage within new and existing departments
  • Collaborate with SDRs, Customer Success, Renewals, and Solutions Engineers to maximise the value we provide to, and unlock from, our customers
  • Experiment with new processes and socialise your findings to potentially be scaled across other teams globally

About you

  • 5+ years experience in a closing sales role (ideally both hunting and farming)
  • Ability to land and expand customers in a competitive market
  • Impeccable customer skills: communication, empathy, and integrity
  • Ability to set & create repeatable processes that support a high variety of customer interactions
  • Full sales-cycle management skills, from prospecting to close
  • Experience working with SDRs, customer success, solutions engineers, internal marketing, business, and product teams to find efficient paths to successful and profitable customers
  • Have strong operational rigour and be reliable e.g. accurate forecasting

What we’ll offer

Our comprehensive compensation package plays a big part in how we recognise you for the impact you have on our path to achieving our mission. We believe that compensation should be reflective of the value you create relative to the market value of your role. To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $155,000 AUD - $197,000 AUD, with commission paid on top. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits. If you're interviewing for this role, speak with your Talent Acquisition Partner to learn more about the total compensation and benefits for this role.

  • Mental health, wellness & fitness benefits
  • Career coaching & support

  • Long-term savings or retirement plans
  • In-office culinary options to cater to your dietary preferences

These are just some of the benefits we offer, and benefits may vary based on role, country, and local regulations. If you're interviewing for this role, speak with your Talent Acquisition Partner to learn more about the total compensation and benefits for this role.
