ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an outstanding Corporate Development lead to unlock growth across our markets, products and functions. Reporting directly to the Chief Finance and Development Officer, you will work intensively with the core leadership team, our Board and our investors, and have an opportunity to make a tremendous impact on the region and the trajectory of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Careem’s M&A activity to promote inorganic growth and capabilities
    • Understand value chain, direct and adjacent growth drivers for the company
    • Prioritise and evaluate strategic fit of opportunities for Careem
    • Develop market landscape, relationships and source opportunities
    • Partner with senior leaders to drive commercial diligence and decision making
    • Manage formal diligence, negotiation and documentation to close
    • Ensure focus on post acquisition integration with business leaders
  • Understand value chain, direct and adjacent growth drivers for the company
  • Prioritise and evaluate strategic fit of opportunities for Careem
  • Develop market landscape, relationships and source opportunities
  • Partner with senior leaders to drive commercial diligence and decision making
  • Manage formal diligence, negotiation and documentation to close
  • Ensure focus on post acquisition integration with business leaders
  • Manage Investor Relations to enable Careem’s business objectives
    • Manage communication with our Board, existing and build relationships with strategic and new investors
  • Manage communication with our Board, existing and build relationships with strategic and new investors
