About our Corporate Training Team:

In recent years, IT departments have evolved from the purveyor of technology to the agents of change in their organization. Because of this dramatic role shift, companies are falling further and further behind in the race to hire top technology talent. In fact, according to a recent survey of CIOs, 65% feel that lack of talent will keep their organizations from keeping up with the fast paced technological changes. The Iron Yard’s Corporate Training Team was designed to bridge this gap through its recruiting, reskilling, onboarding and upskilling offerings.

The Corporate Training Sales Executive is a business athlete who identifies, generates and closes sales for public sector and commercial accounts nationwide.They are a self starter who can represent our brand well and drive revenue by leveraging their existing relationships in enterprise sales, while capitalizing on market demand for technical training solutions. They will have a deep understanding of enterprise technology needs, and a proven track record of selling in the C suite. Additionally, they have the ability to expand current customer engagements by working closely with our product teams.


Responsibilities include:

  • Leverage existing commercial and public sector relationships to create and drive revenue
  • Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Develop and manage sales strategies and related cadences
  • Have complete ownership of sales cycle from lead generation to contract closing
  • Team with internal technical experts in developing customer training solutions
  • Develop and negotiate contract pricing and business terms
  • Contribute within Corporate Training team on sales methodologies and processes
  • Develop and manage metrics/success criteria for all sales leads, programs and activities
  • Identify, develop and leverage strategic partnerships
  • Work closely with Product teams in development of new training solutions
  • Ensure 100% customer satisfaction
  • Represent the company at customer, partner and industry events
