We are seeking a talented, experienced, and self-directed Creative Director to generate bar-raising, industry leading creative direction, visual storytelling and executions for innovative and effective marketing experiences across platforms and mediums-driving traffic, awareness and engagement.

This is an all-encompassing opportunity to raise the bar on all things creative: identity, brand design and visual storytelling; photography and video art direction. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to motivate through vision and dedication to excellence; demonstrate success translating business goals into original solutions; and a desire to inspire and collaborate with a passionate team.

As a Creative Director, you will play a significant role in engaging customers and creating a best-in-class customer experience via web, mobile, social media, on-site, editorial, traditional, email, and digital marketing initiatives.

In this role you will:

  • Shape comprehension of the Hiya story, products and services through all audience channels
  • Manage creative direction and development for a host of marketing projects-inclusive of branding, photography and graphic design
  • Collaborate with marketing designers, producers, and marketing managers to see your vision come to fruition
  • Manage and develop creative positioning (graphic look and feel, voice, photography, etc.) for web, digital and offline marketing
  • Create world-class, beautiful layouts and visuals that support and reinforce business objectives; partner with marketing leads to ensure that designs meet brand and business objectives
  • Provide photo and video art direction; bringing experience with product and editorial-style photo/video shoots and how to effectively direct a crew from start to finish
  • Direct the photography/video sessions including lighting, demeanor, mood, styling, etc.
  • Be able to present and create enthusiasm and excitement with executive team members, key partners and customers; influencing business and creative decisions and direction
  • Establish and maintain a business rhythm by conducting reviews, project plans and meetings on a regular basis

You don't have to check all the boxes, but we think these are important requirements for this role:

  • At least 5-7 years of creative design experience including Visual Design, Visual Storytelling, identity design or identity art direction and Photo Art Direction expertise for B2B marketing
  • Experience with Webflow, Hubspot landing pages and other digital B2B experience technologies a plus
  • A portfolio that demonstrates the ability to turn ideas into a creative vision.
  • Unwavering attention to detail and an acute awareness that everything counts.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal collaboration skills.
  • Excellent concepting, creative development, design and project management skills.
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign and related design and production software.
  • Demonstrated eye for business and customer-centricity.
  • Welcomes feedback and constructive criticism, and enjoys working in a collaborative, iterative, and agile process.
  • Have experience working in fast-paced company environments or believe you’ll excel in a startup environment (high ambiguity, high urgency, fast-paced environment)
  • Bachelor’s degree in design (i.e. Fine Arts/Graphic Design/Visual Communications/Advertising or similar) or equivalent professional experience.
