Creative Director (Head of Experience Design)

We’re looking for someone to inspire and lead our experience design team, working closely with our head of consulting to deliver a people-centric design approach that spans all phases of development from problem-framing to concept and solution design, through to content.

  • Partner with our Head of Consulting to design experience strategies that empower our teams and inspire our customers;
  • Provide strong leadership across user-experience, design and content strategy that ensures projects are delivered, are effective and bring impact to our customers;
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across production and sales nationally to help bring the right people to projects to ensure an outstanding service experience for our customers;
  • Consult and advise clients to frame the right problems and develop strategies and solutions that encourage broader thinking;
  • Ensure the team generates great ideas, services and products that demonstrate in-depth understanding of our customers’ needs - and deliver important revenue to the rest of Squiz
  • Strong management and leadership skills to run the user-experience, design and content teams and keep them pushing forwards to new ideas and solutions;
  • Experience leading consultative, collaborative teams
  • A portfolio of work that spans a variety of industries and design challenges in the digital world;
  • Experience in design, strategy and technical implementation - from insights and conceptualization through to design and market execution;
  • • Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak the language of our people and our customers;
