Creative Director

San Francisco, United States

Omada Health is on a mission to inspire and enable people everywhere to live free of chronic disease.

We’re looking for a world-class Creative Director to push our brand to new heights using creative storytelling and cutting-edge marketing tactics.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will help refine and evolve Omada’s personality, look & feel, and perspective on what the future of healthcare ought to be.

Your job, in a nutshell, is to ensure the creative excellence and impact of everything we do.

You’ll inspire, mentor, and oversee a team of talented storytellers, including graphic, web, video, and motion designers. Plus a handful of extraordinary copywriters and content marketers.

You’ll work to define the creative priorities, spot great ideas and shape content to make it sing, as well as guide and protect it throughout the design process.

You’ll ensure the team feels inspired and energized to do their best work, pushing roadblocks out of their way while ensuring key stakeholders’ input is thoughtfully incorporated.

You’ll also partner with our Director of Product Design to ensure a coherent experience across all brand touchpoints, as well as share learning and inspiration among both groups.

You:

  • Are a world-class storyteller, across multiple media, including web, motion, and print.
  • Listen twice as much as you talk.
  • Are the first to roll up your sleeves and do the design work when needed (either to set the example or the pace).
  • Understand the business reality and creative possibilities at the same time.
  • Have a clear vision while pushing for constant evolution.
  • Can quickly build incredible empathy for our multiple audiences, both B2B and B2C
  • Love being the eye of any storm.
  • Nurture and inspire creative talent and ensure your team can grow into incredible leadership roles.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and feedback for the team’s creative and professional development.
  • Ensure you have a life outside Omada that is infused with creative content and innovation.
  • Love exploring the latest marketing tactics to push our story to ever more audiences and thought leaders.
  • Never feel happier than when the team nails a killer piece of creative that has real, tangible impact in the world.

Required Skills:

  • 12+ years in advertising or design, either in-house or agency.
  • A leader with some experience in a tech startup environment would be a plus.
  • Rock-solid creative chops.
  • A maker’s mindset with the ability to do, not just direct.
  • Brand savvy and strategic thinker.
  • Experience across mediums, including motion, web, video, print, direct mail (and pretty much anything else you can think of).

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary
  • Stock options
  • Flexible vacation
  • Parental leave
  • Health, dental, and vision
  • Healthy snacks and meals
  • Wellness events (e.g. running club)
  • Community volunteering
  • 401k retirement savings plan
