Our client is a leading process automation company that works with Fortune 500 clients in every aspect of process control, manufacturing automation and systems integration across a variety of industries.
 
Our client is currently seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join their team. This individual will provide engineering and cybersecurity consulting to the customers and project teams. The individual will also support the growth of cybersecurity services, working closely with the business development team.
 
Cybersecurity Engineer-(Manufacturing / Process Automation) -W2 only
This is a full-time direct hire position with our client.
Location: Boston/ Baltimore/ Delaware, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Houston.  -Hybrid.
Manufacturing / Process Automation experience good to have. 
No C2C, No OPT/ CPT. No sponsorship. 
 
As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer at Our client, you will deliver projects to customers. Your primary job functions will include:
  • Identifying gaps in existing OT networks and computing systems and making risk-based recommendations for improvement.
  • Designing and implementing OT network and cybersecurity measures to safeguard OT devices.
  • Designing, developing, and documenting systems which meet our customers’ requirements.
  • Leading project teams comprised of other local OUR CLIENT engineering resources
  • Meeting with Project Managers and OUR CLIENT ownership to assess project’s statuses, customer satisfaction and assist with mentoring less experienced OUR CLIENT engineers.
  • Communicating with customers, both at the office and on-site, to present your work and come up with unique solutions.
  • Engaging with other OUR CLIENT engineers to teach and learn project methodologies.
  • Traveling to customer sites to implement and test project deliverables.

Education
  • Bachelors (or higher) degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a technical discipline.
  •  
Experience
  • Five (5) years of experience in IT/OT infrastructure for manufacturing and/or industrial automation industries
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Identify gaps in existing OT networks and computing systems and make risk-based recommendations for improvement
  • Prepare test procedures to be utilized during factory and site acceptance testing of OUR CLIENT provisioned systems or as part of independent testing efforts
  • Design, configure, standardize and implement OT networks and cybersecurity compensating controls for OT devices
  • Develop clean sheet security policies and procedures and find areas to improve existing policies and procedures
  • Provide leadership for customer projects including effectively communicating to stakeholders, building consensus, and directing other technical staff
  • Lead the execution of cyber assessments both independently and through directing junior staff
  • Prior project leadership experience
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate Industrial or equivalent a plus
  • Manufacturing cybersecurity certification such as GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert, or equivalent a plus
 
Skills
  • Using both oral and written communications, be able to create a story for customers on risk and benefits of cybersecurity posture
  • Proven ability to translate control requirements into implementable and sustainable technical/engineering controls
  • Perform expert-level security solution design, implementation, and maintenance activities under minimal direction
  • Implement and troubleshoot changes in Windows air-gapped Windows server and workstation systems and COTS TCP/IP networks
  • Displays a positive and professional demeanor
  • Demonstrates a flexible and cooperative working style
  • Willing to work off-hours when required
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Willing to submit to drug testing and/or background checks as mandated for a) employment, and b) customer contract requirements
