The Role
Outrider’s Data Team is looking for a Data Analyst Intern to help support internal dashboarding and analyses focused on improving performance of our fleet of autonomous vehicles. You will be working closely with other data team members, as well as in a cross-functional capacity with Engineering, Product Management, and Test Operations teams as the primary stakeholders.
Who You Are
- Curious, analytical, and detail-oriented
- Background in computer science, mathematics, data analytics, or statistics
- Enthusiastic about the opportunity to explore data at the intersection of robotics and cloud technologies
- Comfortable collaborating with remote teammates across timezones in the US
Duties & Key Objectives
- Deliver data analyses, dashboards, and data visualizations to answer questions about Outrider’s robotic vehicles to internal stakeholders
- Maintain reproducible SQL queries, Python code, and dashboards
- Document methodology, new data assets, or data definitions you create
- Work in cross-functional teams to drive product improvement using data
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with SQL and Python (especially pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, plotly libraries)
- Experience in exploratory data analysis
- Understanding of basic statistical concepts
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Mode Analytics, Tableau, or similar
Ideal Qualifications
- Familiarity with AWS tools, such as Lambda, Athena, and S3
- Experience with git and version control
