The most comprehensive and accurate data in the professional world is one of LinkedIn's most valuable assets. The Data Platform & Products team at LinkedIn is the foundation of LI’s product. It owns the Economic Graph, LI’s crown jewels and is responsible for extracting intelligence from that data, built platforms to embed that across LI’s product suite and build products to power every business decision across LinkedIn's portfolio. Within this portfolio, we are looking for a rock star Product Manager to deliver and drive company-wide adoption for LinkedIn's Data Governance platform. This is a critical initiative that is the centerpiece of LI’s efforts on data privacy with executive visibility. This is a rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor of an initiative that has company-wide impact and at the cutting-edge of Big Data.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive product strategy and direction for LinkedIn's analytics platform and applications
  • Drive the ideation, planning, development and launch of innovative new data products
  • Drive global product requirements definition, product planning and product design of new features and enhancements
  • Deliver consumer-grade simplicity and ease of use to complex analytics products for users of all skill sets working closely with top notch UX designers and UI engineers
  • Lead efforts on end user training, product testing, and rollout
  • Be the evangelist for communicating product benefits and drive adoption across the company and within LinkedIn's commercial products
  • Foster a data-driven culture that facilitates collaboration and accelerates innovation

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree in a technology-related field
  • 2+ years of experience in product management or equivalent role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building web products with a demonstrated ability to drive product planning, development and launch
  • Strong understanding of the most recent trends around consumer web usage including experience with social media
  • Knowledge of the Internet, emerging web technologies and community building
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage and lead across highly cross-functional teams
  • Experience shipping consumer products or enterprise products with consumer-grade UX
  • Understanding of technical architecture of complex and highly scalable solutions
  • Experience leading company-wide initiatives with diverse stakeholders a plus
  • Experience building/using Big Data Analytics and visualization tools a plus
  • Masters degree in a technology-related field or MBA a plus
