Data Scientist

We are looking for a highly motivated professional to join our awesome Data Science team within the BI & Analytics department and drive better business decisions by leveraging impactful scientific techniques in a rapidly growing Big Data reality.

Responsibilities:

In this role you will:

• Leverage your analytical, statistical and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets
• Implement statistical and Machine Learning methodologies and data analysis techniques to address challenging business questions
• Combine data science with data engineering aspects in order to help the monitoring and maintenance of model pipelines (training, scoring, testing)
• Translate data science concepts into business language through effective storytelling
• Develop, deploy and maintain online tools and dashboards including analytical outputs, to be consumed by different parts of the business
• Build strong relationships with a wide range of business partners, identify business problems and propose and implement data science methods to address them
• Contribute to establishing a strong data culture across the organization

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, economics, operations research or similar
• At least 2 years of working experience in an advanced analytics, statistical or quantitative role
• Proficiency in Data Science scripting (in SQL / Python / Scala), with exposure to cloud technologies
• Great knowledge of advanced analytics techniques that include both supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms for propensity/predictive modeling, forecasting, customer segmentation
• Exceptional data storytelling skills and the ability to articulate technical information to a non-technical audience
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI or other dashboarding tool, such as Tableau
• The ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and identify opportunities with limited oversight
• High drive, can-do attitude, proactive and flexible to changing business demands
• Fast learner and easy adopter of new technologies, analytical tools and methods
• Fluent in English
