The Project and Delivery Manager will have a dual set of responsibilities, Project Management
and Delivery Management.
As Project Manager you will be responsible for the overall project management and completion
of professional services projects. Delivery of the projects will be within the constraints of scope,
quality, time and costs in order to meet the project objectives and to achieve high customer
As Delivery Manager you will be responsible for the planning and deployment of the Okta
service for our customers to ensure we are providing the appropriate services to ensure their
success. You will also be responsible for the regional Professional Services team members
assignments and will assist your line manager with oversight and accountability for the regional
services including billings /revenue, customer satisfaction, and resources utilisation. This role
will report to the Regional Director of Professional Services.

Job Duties and Responsibilities – Project Management:
Work with sales, pre-sales and engineers to define services portion of our solution
Manage changes to project scope, through a formal change management policy
Coordinate activities of project team and customer from inception through successful
Devise initial project plan, monitor the execution of various activities and coordinate any
Manage and track resource scheduling and project time utilization
Track progress and report status internally and to clients throughout the project life
Identify, analyze, and respond to project risks, as they occur
Lead quality acceptance activities, for each of the project milestones
Coordinate transition from Professional Services to on-going Support, at completion of
Ensure tasks are constantly updated to reflect actual project status
Ensure the project is delivered within the Budget as outlined in the Statement of Work
Have some knowledge of the delivery of Identity Management solutions
Identity opportunities to position other Service delivered within the Budget as outlined
in the Statement of Work
Identity opportunities to position other Service offerings
Well versed and experienced in a variety of Software Development Life Cycle processes,
including Agile and Scrum
Passion for Customer Service
Strong communication and coordination skills
Desire to be a part of the high paced, high energy, startup experience
Project Management Certification (Prince2, PMP) is preferred
Travel can be up to 50% at times
Job Duties and Responsibilities – Delivery Management:
Assist with hiring, growing and retaining PS delivery team members wholly passionate
about our customers’ success, including technical consultants, and project managers
Ensure resources are properly staffed on projects to ensure achievements, including
direct employees and contractors
Assist the Okta Strategy & Programs team and PMO with improving regional reporting
tools, delivery methodology, standard methodologies, and project templates
Utilise project / time tracking solution (Financial Force) to properly run a portfolio of
Work closely with the Business Operations, Finance and Legal teams to ensure the
proper post-implementation activities are accounted for and in compliance with the
Ensure quality and time management processes are followed by team (e.g., change
controls, time tracking)
Use knowledge repository of deployment standard methodologies and other customer
ideas which can continually improve the Okta platform
Collaborate with Okta partners as well as assist in development of Okta Partner Network
Demonstrated relevant experience including substantial track record of the successful
management and delivery of highly complex projects and programs is required
Capability of establishing standards and best-practices in business analysis and project
management, and developing teams to those standards
The qualified candidate should have experience of working within a consulting
organization; will have strong matrix management skills and ability to work
collaboratively in a multi-cultural environment within a (virtual) team
Ability to conduct effective executive presentations.
Experience in traditional and agile project delivery methodologies.
Target driven, team-player, and focused on great customer outcomes.
Willing and able to travel up to 50%, as required.
