Data breaches across high-profile and sophisticated companies are increasingly more frequent and expensive. Recognizing that perimeter defense is not enough, enterprises are recognizing that implementing least privilege is the best way to mitigate the damage done by breaches. The idea is simple - the less access users have to sensitive resources, the lower the risk of insider threats. However, the execution is complex - companies have no idea who has access to what and don’t have the tools to implement solutions at scale.

Opal is the first company to build context-based access. Unifying actionable insights and access management workflows, the product grants access only when necessary, ensures that all access is documented, and removes access automatically when it is no longer needed.

The Opal team was formed by team members with experience managing and building internal authorization systems at companies like Dropbox and Collective Health. On our path to build context-based access, we have reached a critical point: Greylock Partners and top security leaders, such as Silicon Valley CISO Investments (SVCI) have backed us, our team has grown to 25+ people, and we have partnered with lighthouse brands.

This is why we need you, our future Demand Generation Marketing Manager!

 Your responsibilities

  • Work directly with Founders and Head of Growth to stand up marketing automation and data infrastructure
  • Think like an owner and wear many hats to drive growth
  • Create a data-driven culture to measure the effectiveness of marketing programs and demand-generation experiments
  • Find new growth channels across paid, earned, shared, and owned
  • Spearhead field marketing programs with sales and solutions engineering teams
  • Partner with product marketing to deliver thought leadership content to Opal’s target buyers

🙌 Our Ideal candidate

  • 3+ years of experience in demand generation campaigns for enterprise security products
  • Strong track record for generating leads in Fortune 500 and large enterprises
  • A data-driven self-starter who uses a structured approach towards experimentation
  • Passionate about security products and technology
  • Experience with implementing and expanding usage of marketing automation and analytic tools such as Hubspot, Salesforce, Google Analytics and/or Amplitude
  • You want to be part of a fast-paced, hands-on team, collaborating across time zones and cultures.
