Our client has an opportunity for a Design Ops Lead to join their design operations team. The Design operations team is a cross-disciplinary design operations team focused on enabling more effective designers and a more efficient Experience Design org. Our client owns the operationalizing, optimizing, and scaling of design by designing practices, systems, and tools that drive operational and craft excellence.
Reporting to the Head of Design Ops, this person will own critical Design initiatives focused on operationalizing experience quality. As a Design Ops Lead, you will establish processes and practices to scale the effectiveness and value of company's designers and design teams. You will help the Design ops team establish feedback and learning loops, design and implement their long-term strategy to enable improved experience quality, and measure outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you'll be a big picture problem solver while also immersed in the details defining and refining design practices and frameworks. You will inspire and energize design teams to achieve user-centered outcomes, create the best user experiences, and identify opportunities for their team to work better and deliver value to their design org.

In terms of experience, this means:
You’ve spent at least 6-10 years in design, design operations, or similar role.
You have strong foundational understanding of the design practices and methodologies and the product development lifecycle.
You are comfortable leading programs of work, managing stakeholder expectations and dependencies.
You’ve worked collaboratively within and across teams, influencing to drive not just tactical execution but also larger strategy.
