RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain Office Network Connectivity: Printers, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Video Conference systems, VoIP Phones, etc.
- Desktop Support: Includes problems related with Email Clients/Email Profiles, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Printers, i/o issues, MS Office Suite issues, Browser issues, iCloud, Migration, Time Machine Backups, Disk/file system issues, Operating System issues, etc.
- Onboarding/Offboarding: IT Hardware/Software Procurement (includes weekly reporting to accounting), Computer Provisioning and Deprovisioning (Imaging/Restoring), Shipping & Logistics for shipping out provisioned hardware to new and existing employees as well as recollecting back hardware from departing employees, Running the weekly IT Onboarding Sessions for new employees, Provisioning/Deprovisioning user accounts and access, and Enforcing IT Policies & Procedures.
- Inventory Management: keep track of mobile devices, laptops, desktops, cintiqs, apple tvs, monitors, & etc. Maintain software license database (who is currently issued what).
- Ticketing system: Using JIRA for all desktop support requests, Performing Root Cause Analysis, Adding solutions to the Knowledge Base.
- System Upgrades & Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and upgrade hardware/software as needed.
- Working on other IT tasks & projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency with Mac operating systems: OS X Imaging/Recovery, Diagnostics, Users & Groups, Networking, Security, FileVault, iCloud, Migration Assistant, Keychain, Time Machine, Disk Utility, Activity Monitor, Terminal.
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems: OS Imaging/Recovery, Safe Mode, Local User Accounts/User Profiles, Computer/Disk Management, Networking, Security, Installing and Uninstalling Programs & OS Components, Windows Update, Email Profiles, Installing Drivers as needed.
- Browser Problems Troubleshooting: Mostly Chrome, Occasionally Safari, Firefox, IE.
- Printers: Installing drivers and adding a printer as a network printer.
- Network Troubleshooting: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN.
- Microsoft Office Knowledge: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Strong understanding and experience with mobile devices and tablets: iOS & Android, setting email inboxes to devices.
- G-Suite, Dropbox, Slack, JIRA, and OneLogin experience required: Administering these platforms as well as knowledge from how to use these products as an end user.
- Video Conference Systems knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to provide professional and interpersonal communication when interacting with others.
- Must be able to multitask.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pound items, packages, or boxes without assistance.
- Must have a car and be able to drive for work related needs. Any work related mileage outside of commuting between home and work will be reimbursed.
- This position requires on-site presence. This team member will provide IT support to the offices, work on tasks that requires shippings and logistics and needs to be present at the offices during normal office hours.
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation for this role. The range listed is just one component of Jam City's total compensation package for employees, which may also include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, certifications, location, business needs, or market demands. This range is based on a full-time position. This range may be modified in the future. In addition, Jam City provides a variety of benefits to employees, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan, life, disability, and accident insurance. Pay Range: $50,500— $75,000 salary per year.
