Our Stack

We use a mix of tools in constant evolution; BigQuery, Cloud Run, Tensorflow, Pytorch, Petastore, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL. We live in the Google Cloud Platform, we use Terraform as infrastructure as code, and we orchestrate with a Kubernetes cluster. We have a decoupled architecture, based on asynchronous APIs and services and we work with React on frontend platforms (clients and admin), Native code in the mobile apps (Swift, Java / Kotlin) and Node, Python / Django on the backend.

About you

What you will do

As a DevOps engineer in our Tech team, you will be responsible for developing and deploying applications/pipelines related to Machine Learning for a variety of real-world problems. You will work closely with our Platform and Infrastructure Lead and also with the Product Engineering Data and Research team to bring ML prototypes into production. We are creating a global product and this process requires out of the box thinking & solving some interesting technical challenges on the infrastructure level.

Responsibilities

  • Help to define technical solutions for projects related to MLOps and ML application development and manage those projects to obtain the defined objectives
  • Work closely with Platform and Infrastructure Lead as a team
  • Work closely with the Product Engineering Data and Research team
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists to deploy ML prototypes into production applications
  • Offer support and troubleshooting assistance for the ML pipelines
  • Manage our machine learning infrastructure
  • Improve our solutions with care and dedication to detail

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of software engineering experience of which at least 1 to 2 years focusing on DevOps
  • Experience with Docker / Kubernetes / Terraform and CI / CD workflows
  • Experience with Web application development
  • Experience with GCP and AWS
  • Comfortable working with Linux, especially Ubuntu
  • Coding with Python (preferred) or other languages like Java, C++, C#.
  • Prior experience with ML application development and ML DevOps is considered a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and mindset
  • Out of the box thinking
  • Demonstrated skills in writing technical reports and presentations of technical problems
  • Communicative English. Spanish is considered a plus
