DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team and grow with us as we continue to expand our operations.

Position Overview

As a DevOps Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals in the field of DevOps. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for cloud native computing technologies,  who is eager to learn and contribute to the success of our projects. You will be an integral part of our team, assisting with the maintenance and optimization of our infrastructure while gaining valuable hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management, monitoring, and scaling of our Kubernetes clusters.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to improve our CI/CD pipeline and automate deployment processes.
  • Support the development of infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues under guidance.
  • Contribute to the implementation of security, compliance, and disaster recovery best practices.
  • Learn and optimize infrastructure for cost efficiency and performance.
  • Be part of the on-call rotation to provide support during critical incidents.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Some prior experience or coursework related to DevOps concepts and practices.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration concepts, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Basic understanding of Terraform or similar infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
  • Interest in cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technology.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications or coursework in DevOps, Kubernetes, or Terraform.
  • Exposure to scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or similar.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to stay updated with DevOps trends and technologies.
  • Previous exposure to monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Enthusiasm for working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
