Digital Advertising Specialist

The Basics:

The Digital Advertising Specialist is responsible for the strategy development and day-to-day management of paid search, paid social, retargeting, and display campaigns focused on driving new leads. They will oversee our PPC processes, objectives, strategies and implementation of audience-specific campaigns in support of revenue growth and performance optimization. The Digital Advertising Specialist must be able to manage large accounts with large budgets and be solution-focused and able to successfully execute on a variety of paid advertising strategies and initiatives. The Digital Advertising Specialist will drive strategy, channel mix, performance analysis, campaign management, and tactical execution across multiple platforms such as Google, Bing, and LinkedIn.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and manage effective near and long term paid search, paid social, and display strategies that increase conversion, revenue, and ROAS
  • Day-to-day campaign management including: keyword and audience research, bid management, ad copywriting, performance optimization, and testing 
  • Translate business and marketing goals into digital advertising programs and establish objectives, strategies, budget estimates, lead projections and insights
  • Manage budget allocations across campaigns and platforms 
  • Be responsible for driving traffic, lead volume, conversion and revenue targets
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on industry trends, campaign performance, and recommendations
  • Communicate campaign performance and status reports to Demand Gen team outlining progress against goals and KPIs
  • Find new mediums and vendors to expand our paid advertising presence while maintaining targeting strategies

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Education:
    • BA or BS in marketing or related field
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years PPC management experience, preferably in B2B 
    • Deep understanding of Google, Bing, LinkedIn, and other major ad platforms
    • Working proficiency of Marketo or similar platforms for list management, campaign setup and orchestration, lead management, tracking and reporting
    • Experience analyzing complex data, market research, and formulating actionable plans
    • Knowledge of analytics/reporting tools (Google Analytics, etc.) preferred
  • Others:
    • Experience in cybersecurity, cloud/SaaS or other IT environments a plus
    • Excellent strategy and planning skills
    • Excellent analytical and data analysis skills
    • Excellent research, negotiation, and communication skills 
    • Excellent project management skills and a high attention to detail
    • Highly collaborative with a deep sense of ownership and accountability
