The Digital Designer is responsible for the design and production of digital collateral including website assets, e-blasts and templates, web ads, social media campaigns, content management support and various other marketing initiatives. Makita is looking for someone with excellent type and layout skills to support and develop the Makita brand. Expertise in Photoshop and Illustrator is a must with strong foundations in digital design and responsive applications. In addition, the position requires thorough knowledge of digital techniques, industry standards and best practices as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight turnarounds.

Portfolio must reflect your strong design aesthetic, communication skills and conceptual abilities across a variety of media. Sample work should reflect a clear command of all aspects of visual design, including typography, composition, color, use of photography, and information organization.
